*~ Mommy!!~* asked:

How often does your baby have the hiccups and how far along are you?

Im 33 1/2 weeks and my baby has the hiccups just about every single day, at least once a day if not more. Is this normal?

Yep, very normal. This is my 5th baby and he gets the hiccups nearly every day also, sometimes more than once a day.

My daughter (who is now 12 months old) had them every day while I was pregnant with her. Sometimes twice. By the end of the pregnancy it was no longer cute! LOL i was like.. .Man… she’s got the hiccups AGAIN?!?

When I was pregnant with my daughter she would get the hiccups 2x a day every day. It got very annoying after a week.
So far with this pregnancy I have not noticed that he gets the hiccups very often. But then again I’m only 24 weeks.

yes as aggravating as it is!! my baby had them every single day sometimes 10 times a day.

Oh yes, so very normal. Your baby is learning to basically breath on the inside. They are just swallowing too much amniotic fluid and just training themselves for breathing on the outside. I loved the feeling. My now 15 month old, constantly got the hiccups 3-4 times a day. I loved the feeling of it, was very cute. I think I felt the hiccups with all my babies as early at 32/33 weeks. Enjoy the feeling because once they start getting their foot caught under your ribs, it’s hard to enjoy the hiccups when you are in pain!! All the best sweetie and congratulations
